Nancy Portaleo began with a family cookie recipe and has worked 12 years to develop something special. Not only is the scoop shape unique, but also her efforts in the kitchen have paid off to create a truly perfected chocolate chip cookie. Initially utilized as a dessert on her catering menu, the Rooster 14 cookie evolved into a stand-alone product. The company's unique name stems from her childhood home's address and the distinctive memory of a white rooster silhouette which hung on that home's side. These ties to her childhood are integral in the presentation of the product she provides which is always homemade, packaged with care, and delivered with a feeling of comfort as well as retro-charm. |
